Square D VFD Upgrades

CJPA assisted a client with VFD upgrades by installing operator keypads.  One of their VFDs required a field install as it was already in use.

We had our local waterjet service make a cutout template plate for the keypads before the install. This sped up our process and allowed us to cut with more confidence.  We masked off the cutting surface so our jigsaw wouldn't scuff the finish. We ground and filed the rough edges to keep them finger-safe for all future work (left-behind burrs can snag ya!). Lastly before installing the keypads, we repainted the exposed steel with enclosure paint to prevent rust.
